Zhejiang Yibaling Power Equipment Co., Ltd. is one of the major manufacturers and suppliers of SCB13 dry-type transformers in China. Our transformers are highly favored by customers and have expanded their market not only in China but also to countries like Europe and America. We look forward to becoming your supplier in China.
The SCB13 resin-insulated dry-type transformer produced by Yibaling Company, as indicated in its model, has "S" for three phases, "C" for solid insulation structure made of resin casting, and "B" for the winding made by foil technology.
The interior of the SCB13 resin-insulated dry-type transformer uses high-quality silicon steel sheets, and the exterior is formed through vacuum resin casting. This design not only results in relatively low no-load and load losses during operation, but also saves a considerable amount of electricity over the long term, making it highly economical.
At the same time, it is fireproof and moisture-proof, requires almost no daily maintenance, has a long service life, is safe and environmentally friendly, so the product can be directly installed in areas with concentrated electrical loads without the need for an additional dedicated substation, which is very convenient.
Company Profile
Core Materials
The core material system of the SCB13 dry-type transformer is the physical foundation for achieving national first-class energy efficiency (13 efficiency) and high reliability. The entire system is precisely constructed around the two major goals of extreme energy conservation and robust insulation.
The core must use extremely high-grade cold-rolled oriented silicon steel sheets (such as 30ZH120 or even better 27 grade), and through stepped lamination and precise processing, the no-load loss is reduced to the minimum, which is the decisive factor for meeting the energy efficiency threshold.
The winding uses high-conductivity oxygen-free copper foil instead of traditional enameled wire, significantly reducing the load loss with a larger heat dissipation area and better eddy current characteristics, and ensuring short-circuit resistance. The copper foil and interlayer insulation materials are placed in a high vacuum environment and completely cast with high-quality, low-viscosity, and high-thermal-conductivity H-class epoxy resin compound. After curing, a moisture-proof, dust-proof, crack-resistant, and integrated rigid insulator with the conductor is formed, which is the core for the long-term maintenance-free operation of the SCB13 dry-type transformer.
In addition, high-temperature resistant DMC insulation parts, intelligent temperature control systems (Pt100 sensors), and high-quality steel plate shells together constitute the auxiliary system for ensuring its stable operation.

Product Information
Q: What is a dry transformer?
A: A dry transformer is an electrical transformer that uses solid insulating materials instead of liquid, such as oil, to insulate between the windings and the core.
Q: How does a SCB13 dry-type transformer work?
A: It works on the principle of electromagnetic induction, where an alternating current in the primary coil induces a magnetic field that, in turn, induces a current in the secondary coil.
Q: What are the advantages of using a SCB13 dry-type transformer?
A: The SCB13 dry-type transformers are safer in terms of fire risk, easier to maintain, can be more compact, and are suitable for indoor use where oil isn’t desirable.
Q: Can the SCB13 dry-type transformers be used outdoors?
A: Yes, they are rated for outdoor use and come with weatherproof enclosures.
Q: Can dry transformers handle fluctuating loads?
A: Most dry transformers are designed to handle varying loads within their rating, although sudden large changes in load might affect efficiency and lifespan.
Q: Are there any special considerations when installing a dry transformer?
A: Yes, consider ventilation, clearance requirements, grounding, and compliance with local building codes and electrical standards.
Q: What is the impact of temperature on the SCB13 dry-type transformer performance?
A: High temperatures can reduce efficiency and increase the risk of failure. Proper cooling and ventilation are necessary to maintain optimal operating temperatures.
