Firstly, the winding conductors use oxygen-free copper wire with extremely low resistivity, which is then subjected to precise drawing and polishing processes to ensure a smooth surface without burrs. This physically reduces eddy current losses and skin effect, thereby significantly lowering the load losses.
The core uses high magnetic permeability and low-loss high-quality cold-rolled oriented silicon steel sheets. Through optimized magnetic circuit design, the no-load losses are reduced to the industry-leading level. Working Condition
The standard operating environment for the S13 distribution transformer must meet the design boundaries for its outdoor oil-immersed equipment.
1. Geographical Location
The standard design is applicable to areas with an altitude of 1000 meters or below.
If the altitude exceeds this limit, the capacity and insulation must be reduced according to the de-rating requirements.
2. Climatic Conditions
It should comply with the following:
Maximum operating temperature: does not exceed +40℃
Average temperature of the hottest month: does not exceed +30℃
Minimum temperature: not lower than -25℃ (for outdoor type)
Relative humidity of the air: does not exceed 95% at 25℃ to avoid excessive condensation.
3. Installation Site
When installing, it should be a well-ventilated outdoor space without severe obstructions, ensuring natural cooling; the foundation must be solid and flat, with a moderate slope towards the oil reservoir side.
The S13 distribution transformer is suitable for normal pollution level environments. In coastal, industrial areas, etc., where there are salt fog, corrosive gases or heavy pollution, it is necessary to provide additional explanations to enhance the external insulation and anti-corrosion design.
It is strictly prohibited to use it in flammable and explosive environments, and it should avoid long-term exposure to extreme vibration conditions.
