The reliable operation of the Yibaling TND single-phase AC voltage stabilizer depends on strict usage conditions. Electrical aspect: The input voltage and frequency must strictly match the marked specifications (such as 220V ± 20%, 50Hz), and it is necessary to ensure that the live wire, neutral wire and protective ground wire are correctly and firmly connected. Environmental aspect: The TND single phase AC voltage stabilizers should be installed vertically in a clean environment with a temperature range of -5℃ to +40℃, humidity lower than 90% (without condensation), and good ventilation, away from conductive dust, corrosive gases and heat sources, with an altitude generally recommended to be below 1000 meters. Load aspect: This is crucial. The total power of all downstream devices must be less than the rated capacity of the stabilizer, and sufficient margin must be reserved for the instantaneous startup current of inductive loads such as motors and compressors (the product is recommended to leave a 20%-30% margin for the total power). Operation aspect: It is necessary to follow the sequence of turn on the stabilizer first, then the load; turn off the load first, then turn off the stabilizer, and perform regular cleaning and maintenance. Strictly prohibited: Overloading, using this AC voltage stabilizer as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), or modifying the internal components.
How to Select the Right Model?
When choosing the model of the voltage stabilizer for a factory, common mistakes include rounding off the power and only considering the price, which leads to overestimating the capacity and wasting costs, or underestimating it and causing overload and burnout. As a technician who has handled hundreds of factory selection cases, we have summarized a four-step selection method. By following these steps, you can accurately match the working conditions and avoid pitfalls.
Step 1: Precisely calculate the load power and leave sufficient redundancy.
Select the model based on the sum of all equipment's rated power multiplied by 1.2-1.5 (for motor-type inductive loads, use 1.5 times). For a textile factory with a total power of 200KW from 200 looms, a 300KVA voltage stabilizer (200x1.5) was selected. If a 250KVA model was chosen, frequent overload and tripping occurred during startup. We will provide load list calculation services to avoid power misjudgment.
Step 2: Match the voltage fluctuation range of the power grid.
First, measure the input voltage fluctuation range of the factory: select the regular model within a fluctuation of +10% (340-420V), and select the wide-range model if the fluctuation is more than 20% (280-480V). For a mine that measured a voltage range of 280-450V, selecting the 280-480V wide-range model resulted in voltage stability at 380V with 1% deviation, and the number of equipment shutdowns decreased significantly.
Step 3: Select the topological structure based on the load type.
Select an oil-immersed voltage stabilizer for inductive loads (such as motors and electric welding machines), an electronic voltage stabilizer for capacitive loads (such as capacitor compensation cabinets), and a three-phase independent compensation model for mixed loads, with a balance correction of 1%. A mechanical factory selected the our products for mixed loads, reducing the temperature rise of the motor by 8°C.
Step 4: Adapt to the factory's environmental conditions.
Select IP54 protection level for dusty workshops, oil-immersed cooling for high-temperature environments (>40°C), and moisture-proof models for humid environments. A southern paper mill selected the IP54 moisture-proof model, which operated continuously for 2 years without faults in a humidity of 90%.
