The customization of SG 3 Phase Dry-type Transformer

1. Clearly define the details of the customer's requirements

- Rated capacity, primary/secondary voltage, frequency, connection group (e.g. Dyn11), impedance voltage, presence of ±2x2.5% tap adjustment.

- Installation location (indoor/outdoor, basement/floor), altitude, ambient temperature, humidity, presence of corrosive gases (chemical environment), explosive dust (coal mine, flour mill) or salt fog (coastal areas).

- Protection level: conventional IP20 (anti-particle) or IP23/IP54 (splash-proof, dust-proof), the latter requires special design.

- Shell material:

- Regular: High-quality cold-rolled steel plate, surface phosphating followed by powder coating.

- Corrosion-resistant: 304 or 316L stainless steel, suitable for food, medicine, coastal areas.

- Explosion-proof and high protection: Thickened steel plate or aluminum alloy, meeting special explosion-proof requirements, or requires fully sealed welding structure.

- Cooling method: Self-cooling (AN), air-cooling (AF), or forced air-cooling (with independent fan).

Core fabrication 1. Cutting: Silicon steel sheets are precisely cut using longitudinal and transverse cutting lines.
2. Assembly: The stepped stacking method is employed to reduce eddy current losses.
3. Fastening: High-strength channel steel and anti-loosening bolts are used for fastening to ensure low noise.
Winding manufacturing 1. Winding: Using a CNC winding machine in a constant temperature and humidity workshop to wind the coils, ensuring precise number of turns.
2. Pre-baking and VPI treatment: After the coils are pre-baked in a vacuum oven, they are sent to an impregnation tank for "vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI)": first, vacuum is applied to remove air bubbles, then the impregnating resin is injected, and finally, pressure is applied to ensure the resin thoroughly penetrates.
3. Drying: Under high-temperature conditions in a circulating hot air oven, the coils are dried to form an "armor-like" integrated insulator.
Final assembly 1. Assembly: Precisely insert the cured windings into the iron core.
2. Connection: Connect the leads with silver-plated or tin-plated copper strips to reduce contact resistance.
3. Accessories installation: Install temperature control (Pt100), fan, protective housing, etc.
